Data sources

Every figure in your report comes from official UK public data. Here's exactly where each part comes from.

Crime

Crime statistics come from Police.uk — the official open data feed published by UK police forces. Updated monthly.

Schools

School ratings and inspection data come from Ofsted and the Department for Education.

Transport

Transport information is sourced from publicly available local authority data and the Department for Transport.

Amenities & area

Amenities, area boundaries and demographic context come from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and local council open data.

Postcode lookup

Postcode to area mapping uses public lookup services including Postcodes.io and OpenStreetMap.

How fresh is the data?

Data is fetched at the moment you generate a report, so you always see the latest available figures. Update frequency depends on the source — crime data is monthly, school inspections are published as Ofsted releases them.
